Update on Shanty Town Closure

A week after Carnival celebrations have climaxed here, the discussion on security within Shanty Town/Las Vegas during the Caribbean’s Greatest Summer Festival still looms large among the populace.

Sub-Committee Chairperson with responsibility for Shanty Town, Dave George, says the area will be high on the agenda for discussion when the CDC meets for its post-mortem on Friday.
