UTILITIES MINISTER SIGNS DEAL TO IMPROVE WATER SUPPLY

Utilities Minister Hon. Melford Nicholas has officially signed an agreement in Cuba which is set to improve water supply in Antigua and Barbuda.

The Minister signed a contract to engage the Central Company of Hydraulic Equipment, Cubahidraulica, as a consultant.

The consultancy will provide technical assistance to the Antigua Public Utilities Authority in key areas, including evaluation of the existing hydraulic system components and the development of the projected model.

Minister Nicholas is being accompanied by a team from the APUA on his visit to Cuba.
