VACCINATION SITES MOVE INTO THE COMMUNITIES

The Ministry of Health will adding two temporary COVID-19 vaccination centres as of tomorrow.
These will be the St. Mary’s Church Hall otherwise known as the Tyrells Catholic Church Hall and the Jennings Primary School Auditorium.

Both vaccination sites will cater to members of the surrounding communities however the Tyrells location will also facilitate Hotel Workers, National Parks workers and associates.
The centres will be open until Monday and will run parallel to the government’s main inoculation sites.
Those are the Villa and Glanvilles Polyclinics, the Multipurpose Centre and the Precision Centre.

The temporary inoculation centres will be open until Wednesday June 2.
Meanwhile, Dr. Charles-Williams is providing an update on the overall Covid-19 vaccination figures as at Saturday May 29.

On Sunday, a further three hundred and eighty-eight people received their second dose of the Covid-19 jab at the American University of Antigua. Fifteen people received their first dose.
