Venezuela Dispels Rumors That Country Is Near Civil War

The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela is fighting back against claims in the international media that the country is nearing a state of civil war.

The international media has reported that Venezuela is in crisis and has cited the country for several human rights violations.

The South American territory in a counter move, however, invited 14 senior journalists from the eight Petro Caribe countries in the OECS, to spend a few days touring various establishments to get a firsthand view of the situation.
