VISITOR ARRIVALS SET FOR NEW RECORD – TOURISM MINISTER

Tourism Minister Hon. Charles Fernandez says total visitor arrivals are on track to top 1.2 million by the end of this year, as the sector continues to ride a fresh record-breaking wave.

Around 900,000 of those visitors are cruise guests.

Minister Fernandez says the sector continues to play a major role in powering the wider economy.

He was contributing to debate on the 2026 Appropriations Bill in Parliament’s Lower House on Wednesday.
