WINDIES LEG SPINNER HAYDEN WALSH JR TESTS POSITIVE FOR COVID-19
Antiguan Hayden Walsh Jr has tested positive for COVID-19 and will therefore not be available to represent the West Indies in the upcoming One Day International series against Bangladesh.
The Leeward Islands and West Indies leg spinner had tested negative on arrival in Bangladesh, but had two positive PCR tests between yesterday and today in Dhaka.
Cricket West Indies confirmed the news in a release, saying Walsh Jr is asymptomatic.
The West Indies touring squad has been in individual isolation since arriving in Bangladesh.
Walsh will remain in isolation until he returns two negative PCR test results.
CWI says all other members of the West Indies touring squad have returned negative COVID-19 tests.
