World Travel Awards Update

The stage is set at the Sandals Grande Resort and Spa for the country’s privileged hosting of the prestigious World Tourism Awards.  Chief Executive Officer of the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority, Colin James, explains the significance behind the country’s nomination for the Caribbean’s Leading Honeymoon Destination.

James believes that this speaks volume of the type of work that the Ministry of Tourism, the Tourism Authority and its partners have been carrying out from since the beginning of 2013. He adds that the filming of the Bachelorette finale in the twin island state has placed the country in the spotlight.

The black tie affair is scheduled to begin at 7:30 pm on Saturday.
