Youth Empowerment High on PM Browne’s Agenda
Prime Minister, the Hon. Gaston Browne says youth empowerment will be high on the Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party’s agenda.
He says a number of young people will be selected shortly to serve in various capacities which will give youth a voice, since they are the leaders of tomorrow.
He adds that a National Youth Council is also to be established and the members will have routine meetings with members of cabinet.
Prime Minister Browne says entrepreneurship and employment will also be given immediate attention.
Browne adds that the overall aim is to make the youth of Antigua and Barbuda more globally competitive – a promise outlined in the Antigua and BarbudaLabour Party’s manifesto “The People’s Rescue Plan”.
