Prime Minster Gaston Browne Says The ABLP Administration’s Position On Corruption Is A Shining Example For The Region

Prime Minister Gaston Browne continues to hold the feet of his Ministers to the cold on their stewardship in government.
He says a litmus test has been whether or not any matter in which they are involved can withstand the glare of public scrutiny.

Prime Minister Browne was at the time giving a report to Parliament on the Syrian immigration issue, which gave reason for opposition members to mount recent protests.
To allow for an investigation to proceed, Attorney General Steadroy Benjamin won the reluctant approval of Prime Minister Browne to remove him from the Immigration Ministry.
The Prime Minister is of the view that the government has demonstrated its intolerance to corruption, making it a shining example for other Caribbean countries to follow.
