Minister Green On Paint
Government has increased its shareholder involvement with one of the country’s most recognized paint distributors, which has resulted in the viability of the establishment.
In speaking to ABS News, Minister with responsibility for Trade and Commerce, the Hon. Paul “Chet” Greene, says prior to the ABLP administration coming to office six months ago, Leewind Paints was virtually close to collapse.
Minister Greene gives kudos to his trade advisor and former Minister of Trade, Hugh Marshall for his assistance in bringing the paint company back to its former glory.
He also thanks Prime Minister, the Hon. Gaston Browne for giving his full support towards the positive intervention.
The trade and commerce minister adds that positive changes are also taking place, which will cost the government approximately two million dollars.
