Motorist Whose Vehicle Killed A Horse And Broke A Utility Pole Gives His Account Of The Incident

The motorist who was hospitalized after his vehicle hit a young horse and then broke a lamp post in two wants penalties for the owners of animals who do not properly secure them.
He is also blaming poor lighting for the crash which happened shortly after 9 Monday night on a section of the Powell’s Main Road.
He has since been discharged from hospital, but as we hear from ABS’ Leon Norville, his aches and pains are not expected to be his only worries, as he also faces prosecution.
