APUA Working To Bring Three Of The Six Engines Online At The Wadadli Power Plant
Minister for Public Utilities, Sir Robin Yearwood says the government is working feverishly to fix at least three of the six engines at the Wadadli Power Plant as soon as possible.
Speaking on the weekly GIS-produced programme, Perspectives, Sir Robin outlined the efforts being made by the Antigua Pubic Utilities Authority to improve the country’s electricity supply.
Sir Robin said he expects the three plants to be back up and running by the end of the year.
He is also expecting a report from the engineers to determine what went wrong with the engines in the first place.
