Port Management Begins To Prepare Staff For Some Inconvenience
Construction work on the new port facilities at the Deep Water Harbour is expected to begin sometime in March.
So says Port Manager Darwin Telemaque a few days before a sod-turning ceremony to signal the start of the multi-million dollar project.
He says for the time being, staff and members of the public will have to go through some inconvenience, noting that the benefits will be well worth it. He expects full completion within three years time.
Telemaque explains that the construction process has been mapped in a way that minimizes the inconvenience on the normal operations of the facility.
