Activities celebrating World AIDS Day now includes Barbuda

The Aids secretariat will be recognizing World Aids Day with a week of activities and for the first time include a full schedule for the sister isle. HIV Consular and Educator Oswald Hannays says the decision was taken to incorporate several new programs and initiatives this year. Hannay’s continued that the youth will be targeted to further impact their peers with information about HIV/AIDS. He lists some of the activities that will take place.

The Annual HIV/AIDS open fair will no longer be at Scotia Bank but on the corner of Temple and Redcliff Street. Hannays says this year his team is working along with a number of partners and encourage the involvement of the cooperate community
