Education Minister Hon. Daryll Matthew says he expects classes will resume at Clare Hall Secondary on Tuesday following fresh meetings with the principal and staff.
Teachers staged a sit-in at the institution Monday morning, amidst lingering concerns about safety at the institution.
Minister Matthew says he too stands in solidarity with teachers and others in school plants over security issues.
He assures the government has been undertaking several measures aimed at improving security at various schools.
The Minister also insists that while the Government carries out its responsibilities, other stakeholders must play a role in ebbing youth violence, since it is a societal concern.
