NEW LNG TERMINAL POSITIONS ANTIGUA AND BARBUDA TO EXPORT NATURAL GAS TO THE SUB-REGION
The new Liquefied Natural Gas terminal being developed on the Crabbs Peninsula will provide the opportunity for Antigua to export natural gas to other countries within the sub-region.
The terminal is set to be completed before the end of the year, and is being developed by Caribbean LNG, a joint venture between Antigua Power Company and Eagle LNG from the United States.
APC chairman, Francis Hadeed is bullish on the prospects as he spoke with the media during a tour of the facility on Tuesday.
