Port Manager, Darwin Telemaque says imported inflation remains a challenge in Antigua and Barbuda because of the situation in the US market.
Telemaque says this is despite a fall in freight rates for goods on westbound maritime routes.
The country continues to face rising prices for imported goods because of the impact of geopolitical developments and the residual impact of pandemic-induced supply-chain challenges.
