APUA LAYS ELECTRICAL CABLES UNDERGROUND IN BARBUDA IN CLIMATE-RESLIENCE THRUST

APUA is asking Barbudans for cooperation as it lays underground electrical cables on the sister isle as part of the Barbuda Energy Resilience Project.
The Government launched the project to revamp the island’s electrical infrastructure after Hurricane Irma’s onslaught in 2017.
A grant from the United Kingdom Caribbean Infrastructure Partnership Fund (UKCIF) is bankrolling the upgrades.
