“TAKE THAT” – TOURISM MINISTER CITES FIGURES REBUFFING CLAIMS BY ALL SAINTS WEST MP

Tourism Minister Hon. Charles Fernandez has used statistics to counter an argument raised by All Saints West Member of Parliament, Hon. Anthony Smith during the Budget Debate last week.
MP Smith had suggested Antigua and Barbuda is lagging behind the twin-island Federation of St Kitts and Nevis in tourism performance.
However, Minister Fernandez quoted figures from the Central Bank and Caribbean Tourism Organisation over the past four years, showing this has not been the case.
