SIR RONALD SANDERS LEADS EFFORTS TO HAVE UNITED STATES DROP ALFA NERO SANCTIONS

Antigua and Barbuda is now engaged in intensified efforts to have the United States remove sanctions from the Alfa Nero super yacht.
Antigua and Barbuda’s ambassador to the United States and Organisation of American States is leading the diplomatic efforts in Washington D.C.
Removing the sanctions will be crucial in having the vessel auctioned by the Port Authority and placing the funds into the treasury.
Sir Ronald and Paul Reichler, a United States attorney engaged by the Antigua and Barbuda Government to address this matter, met with the Treasury Department Wednesday afternoon.
Sir Ronald says Reichler has immense experience in these matters.
He provided the update during an exclusive interview on the ABS Evening News Wednesday.
