GOVERNMENT REVISES COMPASSIONATE OFFER TO FORMER LIAT WORKERS
The government has revised its compassionate offer to former LIAT workers, from 50% down to 32 per cent.
Confirmation comes from Prime Minister and Finance Minister Hon. Gaston Browne, during an exclusive interview with ABS News.
He also reaffirms the government has no legal obligation in this matter, as has been echoed by the Mia Mottley administration in Barbados.
The head of government is also resolute the administration will not entertain any unreasonable demands from the Antigua and Barbuda Workers’ Union.
