UWI FIVE ISLANDS PRINCIPAL PRAISES GOVERNMENT FOR ESTABLISHMENT OF CAMPUS IN ANTIGUA
Principal of the University of the West Indies Five Islands Campus, Prof. Densil Williams says the campus is poised for continued growth.
He has again praised the work of the Gaston Browne administration in having the campus established in Antigua and Barbuda.
He commends Attorney General Steadroy Benjamin, who was asked by Prime Minister Browne to lead tough negotiations before the University Council in Jamaica.
Professor Williams was speaking last Friday, at which time the Attorney General had been acting as prime minister.
He recalls one of the discussions at the University Council in Jamaica in October 2017.
