Ministry of Culture Announces Emancipation Day Plans

The Ministry of Culture on Tuesday announced a new arrangement within the context of the celebrations of carnival.

During a press conference, Minister of Culture with responsibility for Carnival, the Hon. Chet Greene, said for the first time, this year, there will be a featured focus on Emancipation Day (August 1) in the Carnival festivities.
