LIAT Meeting Canceled

The meeting of LIAT shareholder governments that was due to take place Friday morning at the Prime Minister’s Office is postponed until further notice.

Chief of Staff in the Prime Minister’s Office Lionel “Max” Hurst says the decision was taken Friday Morning, after two of the four prime ministers representing shareholding governments became unavailable.

St Vincent and the Grenadines Prime Minister Dr Ralph Gonsalves was not able to attend and neither was the Prime Minister of Barbados, Freundel Stuart, due to illness.

Hurst says the meeting is to be rescheduled and will likely take place at another territory.
