Government Takes Proactive Approach Towards Ebola
The country’s risks, if faced with an Ebola case, goes far beyond the health factor.
That’s according to Prime Minister, the Hon. Gaston Browne, who says government is taking a proactive approach in its preparation, should the fatal disease reach the nation’s shores.
He says there is major concern on the impact Ebola can have on the country’s economy and tourism product.
Prime Minister Browne is satisfied with his country’s preparations to deal with Ebola, and believes that Antigua and Barbuda is ahead of several countries in that regard.
He says the overall aim is early detection.
