Tropical Storm Gonzalo Moves Through Antigua

Tropical Storm Gonzalo caused damaged and disrupted regular activities as strong winds and heavy rainfall swept across Antigua and Barbuda on Monday.

Although the toll of major damage is still unknown, the late-season storm intensified in strength within a matter of hours taking many by surprise.

Many residents admitted that their normal levels of preparation were minimal because they knew very little about the storm prior to experiencing its effects.
