Independence Launch

A call has been made for citizens to join hands and aim towards nation-building, as the country launches its 2014 Independence activities.

Under the theme “Rebuilding our nation, with togetherness, commitment and perseverance”, citizens and residents are being encouraged to reflect on the nation’s accomplishments over the past 33 years and play an individual role as the twin island state moves forward.
