Tostem Slavery Project

The experiences and realities of the Atlantic Slave Trade in Antigua & Barbuda will be preserved, taught and made a part of the nation’s tourism product through a program called TOSTEM.

The acronym is the French equivalent of Tourism Program Centered on the Sites of the Slave Trade, Slavery and its memories.

The Antigua Slavery Memorial Society joins organizers of the EU/ACP-funded project in placing sharp focus on the preservation of this historic time.
