2015 First Centenarian

The country’s first centenarian to celebrate for the year is John Jacob Williams who observes his 101st birthday today.

In the company of His Excellency Sir Rodney Williams, family and well wishers, the birthday celebrant was in visibly good spirits enjoying the company of those around him.

Sir Rodney offered congratulatory words to mark the great milestone.

John Jacob Williams was born on the 24th of January, 1914. The Bolans resident is a former plantation owner, has 14 children and spent his earlier years living in the Virgin Islands.
