Government Hammers Out The Final Deal On The Sale Of WIOC

The final negotiations between the government and PDV Caribe for the sale and purchase of shares in the West Indies Oil Company got underway Monday at the Prime Minister’s office.

A high level team from Venezuela is in St. John’s to take part in the negotiations.

Before the talks got going, Energy Minister Asot Michael addressed the meeting.

In this report, Alciana Tittle explains that the intention is to bring Venezuela on as a full investment partner in the deal.
