Cassada Gardens Man Nabbed With Ammo & Tools
A Cassada Gardens man is currently in police custody assisting them with their investigations, after he found with 14 rounds of ammunition in his possession.

36yrs-old Dwight Garth Sawyers, a Jamaican national residing at Cassada Gardens, was nabbed with 14 rounds of 9mm ammunition in a “Sting Operation” with officers attached to the Narcotics Department and the Rapid Response Unit. The alleged incident took place at Grays Farm on Wednesday, after the police received information that he was seen driving his Black Toyota Starlet motor car without a valid Antigua and Barbuda Driver’s License.

A search on his vehicle turned up a Black Knapsack with the ammunition hidden inside along with a pair of black gloves. A Search Warrant was also conducted on his Cassada Gardens home, where a number of items believed to be stolen were discovered. The items include; one black Hoodie, One Samsung Galaxy Tablet S2, Five Cellular Phones, One GPS Marine tracking device, and a quantity of heavy duty mechanical tools, believe to have been used to strip vehicles. The items were seized and taken to the station pending further investigations.

Sawyers was taken into custody and arrested for Possession of ammunition, Driving without a valid Driver’s License and Driving without insurance.
