ABDF COAST GUARD ASSISTS IN SEARCH FOR MISSING BOAT PASSENGERS

The Antigua and Barbuda Defence Force Coast Guard has assisted in the search for missing passengers, following Tuesday’s boat tragedy off St Kitts.
Neither survivors nor bodies were found following Tuesday’s search operations.
A boat carrying two Antiguans and Barbudans and 30 Africans, capsized and sank about 20 nautical miles off St Kitts in the early hours of Tuesday.
16 people, including the two Antiguans and Barbudans have been rescued, three bodies have been recovered from the water and the other 13 are missing.
