AIDS Program Manager makes new call for Status awareness
Aids Program Manager, Delcora Williams is making a new call for nationals to know their HIV status in an effort to guard against the further spread of the disease.
Williams confirms that people between the ages of sixteen to twenty four years of age are mostly infected.
She believes that practicing abstinence is very important in preventing babies being born with the disease.
She adds that the Secretariat continues to face a challenge to fund the local HIV/AIDS program.
