Melanoma, an uncommon form of skin cancer has proven to be the most fatal.

Globally, it only accounts for 4% of the total number of skin cancer diagnosis however, it accounts for an estimated 73% of skin cancer deaths.

Dermatologist, Dr. Maria Pereira, highlights the seriousness of this disease in often found in occasion where person are highly exposed to direct sunlight.
