ANTIGUANS TO BE GIVEN OPPORTUNITY TO PUCHASE LAND IN BARBUDA

Antiguans will soon be able to purchase land on Barbuda for the first time.
Prime Minister Hon. Gaston Browne made the disclosure on Pointe FM’s Browne and Browne show on Saturday, where he also provided an update on the land register project on the sister isle.
However, the prime minister says Barbudans will retain a preferential purchasing privilege, that allows them to buy an acre of land on the island for one dollar.
