CARICOM considers Marijuana being Taxable

Several countries along with the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) regional bloc are now considering the possibilities of marijuana creating taxable revenue.

CARICOM currently awaits a Commissioner’s Report on the matter.

Over the years, advocates have promoted the plant’s medicinal benefits; however, Dr. Dwayne “Babba” Thwaites says that although the herb may have useful properties, proper investigation is of great importance.
