CEO of School Meals Programme Aims For Centers In Remaining Institutions

Plans are progressing well for all primary government school students to have access to a hot and nutritious lunch courtesy, the National School Meals Program.
Chief Executive Officer, Samuel Spencer, says by the end of 2014, the goal is for the establishment of a school meals centre in the remaining institutions.
He also speaks of thecurrent upgrade of the kitchen at the National School Meals Complex located at Coolidge.
The National School Meals Service, a hallmark social programme of the UPP Government, presently provides approximately 3,500 hot, nutritious meals to students and teachers across the island on a daily basis.
