Closure Of The U.S Facility In Antigua

The government is confirming that the U.S Facility in Antigua will close sometime during the New Year thus displacing some one hundred Antiguans.

But Foreign Affairs Minister, Hon Charles Max Fernandez, says the government says the closure of the facility is both a challenge and an opportunity.

Minister Fernandez says there are already a number of ways that the government is looking at to make use of the property and its several amenities.
