Condolences For Sir Viv
Head of the Anglican Church in Antigua & Barbuda, The Very Reverend Dean Rudolph Smithen, has added his voice to the number of tributes that continue to pour in for the late Grathel Richards.
The mother of the country’s National Hero, Sir Vivian Alexander Richards, died Thursday.
Dean Smithen describes her as a faithful worshipper who touched the lives of many.
Prime Minister the Hon Gaston Browne, on behalf of the government, expresses deepest sympathies to the Richards family for their loss.
In a letter forwarded to Sir Vivian, Prime Minister Browne describes Mrs Richards as a woman who gave of herself through her church, her charitable works, and her embracing love for so many.
He pledged government’s commitment to lend its support to the Richards family during this sad period in their lives.
