Depositors Receive Assurances Their Money Is Safe From Both Prime Minister Gaston Browne And The Eastern Caribbean Amalgamated Bank

ABI Bank is now in good hands and depositors can rest assured that their funds are secured.
Prime Minister Gaston Browne shared further details last night as to how the bank has been capitalized to ensure that there’s a well funded and organized transition during the process of receivership.

Prime Minister Browne was at the time calling into a live discussion that was shared to the public via simulcast between ABS Television and Radio, Observer Radio and ZDK.
He further assured employees that they need not worry since severance and future employment are being looked after.

Prime Minister Browne further appealed to depositors to cooperate and resist any sort of panic withdrawals.
He also called for the cooperation of all stakeholders to fully cooperate with the process to ensure that the stability of the country’s economy remains sound.
