Government To Intensify Efforts To Collect Outstanding Taxes From Delinquent Merchants
The government of Antigua and Barbuda will be vigorously going after merchants in the country who have not made their ABST payments.
Chief of Staff to the Prime Minister Lionel Hurst says… as of April 15, 2015… there is approximately 120 million dollars in outstanding ABST payments.
Meantime, Hurst says government will be taking to Parliament amendments that will lower some ABST costs, for example funerals.
