“IT’S AN EYE-OPENER” – CHIEF HEALTH INSPECTOR REACTS TO DIESEL RACKET
Chief Health Inspector, Sharon Martin has reacted to the developments surrounding the diesel racket uncovered this week. She describes it as sad and unfortunate that the fuel to curtail the breeding of mosquitoes, was allegedly being siphoned off.
The revelation of this racket has also forced changes in the operations at the vector control unit.
Ms Martin says there has been a temporary suspension of spraying operations, as part of efforts to tighten safeguards.
