LIAT ADMINISTRATOR PROVIDES UPDATE ON RESTRUCTURING

The newly-appointed administrator for Antigua-based regional airline LIAT says all governments in the region will be asked to write off debts owed by the carrier.
Cleveland Seaforth tells ABS this accounts for nearly a third of the over 300 million EC dollars in liabilities on its books.
Meanwhile, he discloses Antigua and Barbuda’s government is doing its part to ensure employees receive at least a portion of their salaries.
