Lopez Escapes Again

Recently captured inmate Shastri Lopez, who had been on the run for weeks, has escaped police custody once again.

It was just yesterday that law enforcement officers, acting on a tip-off, captured Lopez in an abandoned house on the eastern side of the island around 5:30pm.

The prisoner was taken into custody and was being held at the St. John’s Police Station before he made his second escape.

Lopez, 27 of Willikies, initially escaped from Her Majesty’s Prison on the morning of August 28th, after Prison Officers during one of their regular routine checks realized he was missing.

Up until news time at 7pm police officers were continuing their search for Lopez.
