Minor Changes Made To The Maritime Piracy and Merchant Shipping Act 2014

The House of Representatives on Thursday approved minor changes to the Maritime Piracy Act 2014 and the Merchant Shipping Act 2014.

The Maritime Piracy Act seeks to bring Antigua and Barbuda up-to-date with the latest moves to combat money laundering and terrorist funding activities. While the Merchant Shipping Act is aimed at improving the processes for the Antigua and Barbuda Ship Registry.
