MOTORISTS FINED FOR BREAKING CURFEW
Two men have each been fined 500 dollars for breaching the 11pm-5am curfew over the weekend.
Members of the joint task force spotted Kareem Nicholas driving his Silver Honda Stepwagon around 1:25am.
Nicholas who pleaded guilty to the offence told Chief Magistrate Joanne Walsh his vehicle has a radiator issue causing it to break down on the road.
Nicholas says he has also written to the police for a curfew pass but has not yet received it.
Meanwhile, Oscar Thomas has also been fined for breaking curfew.
Officers say they were at the scene of an accident on American Road when Thomas drove up near the barricade around 12:15am.
He was arrested since he failed to provide an acceptable reason for being on the road during curfew hours.

The curfew makes no damn sense. The government is mishandling the so called cov19 situation and imposing unnecessarily harsh rules and punishments on its people along with infringing upon freedoms. Its not about science at all, its instead about compliance at this point.
