POLICE CHARGE TWO PARHAM MEN FOR ATTEMPTED MURDER

 Two men from Parham have been jointly charged with Attempted Murder following an attack on Claudette Edwards last Friday.

They are 25 year old Irannie Grant and 20 year old Neil Mitchell.

They will be remanded to prison when they are taken before a magistrate this week.

Police accuse the two of shooting 57 year old Edwards during a brazen armed robbery at her superette.

Police say the robbers also made off with an undisclosed sum of money.

The incident happened shortly after 1 last Friday afternoon at Brenda’s Superette which had also been targeted by robbers in the past.
