The police high command insists the officers at the scene of Tuesday’s standoff in Booby Alley, used the most effective approach under the circumstances to subdue Joel O’Marde.
The response from Assistant Commissioner of Police Clifton Cabral follow criticisms in some quarters that the police were heavy-handed.
