Police Investigate Shooting/Kidnapping

Police are investigating a shooting incident which took place on All Saints Road that left a 35 year old Bolans Man nursing a gunshot wound at the Mount St. Johns Medical Center.

The Bolans resident reported that while he was in the vicinity of the One Stop Barber Shop next to the Camacho’s Service Station on All Saints Road, a white motor vehicle pulled up alongside him and stopped. He further reported that two armed masked men alighted from the vehicle and ordered him to get inside. An alleged scuffle ensued between the man and his attackers, which resulted in one of them allegedly shooting him in his thigh.

According to the man, he was forced into the vehicle and gaged and later driven to a remote area somewhere in Parham, where he was ordered out of the vehicle. He was later discovered and rushed to the hospital by the EMS.

Doctors at the hospital reported that his condition is stable, and that the wound is not life threatening.

The incident took place around 8:45pm on Sunday.
