POLICE REAP MORE SUCCESS IN COUNTER-NARCOTICS CRACKDOWN

There was a major drug bust at Deep Water Harbour on Monday.
A joint narcotics operation between police and customs officers resulted in the seizure of seventy seven and a half pounds of cannabis valued at XCD$465,000.00.
The contraband was reportedly concealed in two barrels and a cardboard box.
Police say investigations are ongoing into this latest bust.
This follows the seizure of almost 40 pounds of cannabis, several firearms and over 140 rounds of ammunition from the same port last week.
